Aragnofobia explores the possibility of fully assembled 3d printed mechanisms fabricated through STL technology. The project plays on the poetic representation of a spider weaving a silk thread. By suspending the spider, it will start to create a silk thread will moving its legs. The interior body of is composed of spur gears with varying ratios and shafts in intersecting planes. The gravitational flow actions the gears into motion producing a silk thread and actioning the legs in motion.z
